Thanks for your call/email. I would suggest trying to reset the device first and if this does not help, the device may need to come in for repairs.
Also, may I please know if the device gets shut down and plug in every night ?
Touching the ON/OFF button does NOT shut the device down, only put the screen to sleep - for shutting down the ACCENT devices, you need to open the settings, click on SHUT DOWN.
So,
Please follow the instructions below to do a HARD reset on the Accent:
- Find a pin or earing and stick it in the hole on top of the device next to the power button.
- After you turn the device back on again, go through a normal shutdown process (this ensures all programs that were forced shut have an opportunity to shut down correctly.

- Settings – Shut down – Yes.

- Make sure that the device is being shut down each night (not put to sleep by the top button) and is charged every night.
