We have updates coming to all our iOS apps in early February that will impact your department in some way. We will be releasing our language restructure project, which will change how languages are offered to new customers. There are three main areas that will be changing:
- All languages and voices will now be free. We will be removing any paid language or voice in-app purchases in the app.
- New customers will see a startup menu to select their preferred language(s) and voices.
- LAMP WFL will have single language files (bilingual files will be removed).
How this may impact your department:
- Via device setups (deciding how to navigate the startup menu before shipping the device)
- In-app purchases (removing language and voice packages)
- Tutorials needed
- Customer support/troubleshooting
- Work instructions
- Customer documentation
- Internal documentation (e.g., selection sheets, PLCF)
