Lead times for acquiring a new device vary. From our side of things, once the funds are received we can dispatch within 2 weeks.
However, the process for acquiring a new device can vary.
If they are looking to get a replacement device, this can be much quicker but it will still involve:
- A beyond repair letter from us if the parts are no longer available or a viable option
- A letter from their child’s speech pathologist confirming the continued need of the device and how it is helping them meet their goals
- A quote of the new device which can be obtained from our website.
This then needs to be sent to the NDIS for approval.
Commentary on what the battery health should reflect is best provided by our technical manager.
