Phonics on Rugged Devices

Thank you [customer] for reaching out to Liberator customer service.

It is possible to use your trial RUGGED device for phonics as you would need to have the 2 software CHAT and WORD combined for PHONICS to work. All of our trial devices will come with CHAT and WORD.

If the client has WordPower and LAMP (such as on a trial device) they can do the following to get access to the Phonics page (on LAMP) on WordPower.

• On their WordPower file hit the three dots
• Edit mode
• Pages
• Three dots
• Import
• On the left select LAMP 84 Full
• On the right scroll down until you see “Phonics” – select this and press Import
• Now go to the page where you want to program a button to open the “phonics” page.
• Press and hold a blank spot and press “create button”
• Add the label and image you want – then press the “actions” tab.
• Add an Action
• Navigate
• Scroll down to “phonics” and press it and then click “Ok”
