If the client presses their selection on the screen, and there is a delay between when they press it to when the speech is heard, it may be a simple setting fix, or software issue:
SOLUTION 1:
In the Novachat App → Input → Timing
Check with Caller:
- Acceptance time: Enable = Unchecked
- Release time: Enable = Unchecked
Activate on Release option is = Checked
SOLUTION 2:
If previous steps did not work, walk the client through device backup steps.
(See backup vocab file & transfer resource)
Walk client through reset device:
1. In the Novachat app on the bottom right corner press tricolon
2. Click application settings
3. Select menu lock → check box
- Choose any password, confirm password → Save
4. Go back
5. Click system → user backup/restore
6. Reset data → Yes
7. Press tricolon
- Library → Choose desired library option
If the problem persists RA# number to be created and device is sent in for repairs.
